The History of Porter and Clark Chiropractic
In 1991, Dr. Clark started his first practice Downriver, in the city of Rockwood, MI. In 1993 he merged practices with his mentor, Dr. Darrell W. Sergent (Sergent Chiropractic in Flat Rock, MI). Dr. Darrell Sergent, passed away September 12, 1995. He was a visionary and brought the concept of incorporating massage therapy into his daily patient care. Dr. Sergent served his country, his patients and his community. He truly inspired Dr. Clark with the passion to take his practice of Chiropractic care to the next level.
Dr. Porter began his practice in Gibraltar, MI in 1984. In 1995 Dr. Jeffrey T. Featherston came on board. Together with Dr. Clark, they moved to their new location and building on January 2, 2003, to "better serve their patients in a relaxing and wellness center environment".
Dr. Jeffrey Sergent followed his father's footsteps by becoming a chiropractor like his dad, the late Darrell Sergent, was. Dr. Jeff Sergent joined Porter and Clark Chiropractic in December of 2009.
